How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Every homeowner who contacts Tearboard Pest Control should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page covers how to file a complaint and what follows. It is a general template, not legal advice.
Topics We Handle
You can write to us about:
- Your experience calling or contacting Tearboard Pest Control
- How your personal information was handled
- Content on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Issue Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, products, work and customer service. If work in your home went badly, start by raising it with the provider directly. Keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Note that Tearboard Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
If your concern is how a pesticide was applied, you may also contact the agency that regulates pest control in North Carolina.
Filing Your Complaint
Email contact@tearboard.garden and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if known
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want from us
After You Send It
We will acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may involve contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Unhappy?
If our response does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
